CUSTOM BAG TERMS AND CONDITIONS

- By purchasing a custom listing you are stating that you have read and you are agreeing to these Bag Custom Terms and Conditions. 

- A minimum purchase amount of $200 will be added to your cart. This is not the full purchase price of your bag. This will cover materials, supplies, and shipping/travel fees to obtain the supplies for your bag.  Shipping cost is NOT included in the initial purchase of the custom listing. Shipping costs will also be added to any overage invoice.

-It is important to keep in mind that these are custom-made bags, so if more time is spent on details, pattern design, and other aspects of customs, they will cost more than the retail stock. I handcraft each and every bag with the help of my industrial sewing machine. 

-As part of the process, I order materials online or visit local shops, cut the pattern pieces, carefully cut out the faces with an X-Acto knife, sew and construct the bag and strap, take photos, and pack and ship each bag myself. The progress of your custom bag will be communicated to you in a timely fashion, so please reply to any emails I send you in a timely manner, so that I may get your bag made so you can start enjoying it as soon as possible.

-After your purchase, please contact me @ rocksandsews@gmail.com for inquiries about your custom bag. 

• Please refrain from purchasing a custom listing if you cannot make full payment upfront and cover any additional costs associated with your custom order. 

• To ensure fairness, only one custom listing per person is allowed. If duplicate purchases are made, the order will be canceled, and a refund will be issued.

• I want to clarify that I will not create replicas of other designers' bags. While I understand the desire to own their designs, I cannot fulfill such requests. If you ask for a replica, your order will be canceled.

• Please be aware that custom-ordered bags are non-refundable. Consider this before making a purchase.

• Kindly note that the cost of the bag varies based on the chosen style, fabric, and materials. I will discuss these options with you via email.

• All invoices will be sent through PayPal as Goods and Services.

Here are the styles of bags I offer for custom orders, along with their approximate dimensions:

• Medium Oval: 8.5" L x 10" H x 3.5" W
• Larger Oval: 11" L x 10" H x 3.5" W
• Circle: 9" L x 9.5" H x 3.5" W
• Square (Large): 10" L x 10" H x 3.5" W
• Fanny Pack Square: 9" L x 7" H x 3.5" W
• Square (Mini): 8.5" H x 8.5" L x 3.5" W  
• Mini Bowler: 9.5" L(widest part) x 8" H x 3.5" W
• Large Bowler: 11"@ widest part" L x 9.5" H x 3.5" W 

**Please note that I am not currently offering alterations to the sizes of these bags.**

-You can choose any Jack-O-Lantern face style from my shop. Feel free to browse and select the desired face style. 

-You can choose a design that you personally own or designed yourself as long as I am able to alter the design for sewing. 

-If you'd like a personalized item, please email me with all the necessary details. Kindly note that if we're unable to finalize the design within a week of placing the order, the order will be canceled, and a refund will be issued, with a 15% fee deducted for my time.

All bags will come with a black vinyl interior and a lined slip pocket. The bag's interior cannot be altered, but you can request a specific liner fabric print for the slip pocket.

You have the option to upgrade any bag style to a backpack by adding a $25 fee to your invoice. Please note that the backpack style features one large D-ring and two smaller lower D-rings. The large backpack strap should be threaded through the top larger D-ring. Kindly be aware that I only create this specific style of backpack.

It is important to note that these backpacks are not designed for carrying large and heavy items. I cannot guarantee the bag's stability if it is overloaded with heavy items. Please take this into consideration before making a purchase.

All custom bags will include an adjustable vinyl strap with clip-on clasps.

Custom Order Refusal:

• I reserve the right to refuse any custom handcrafted bag orders if the customer is unable to provide a clear and final idea for their custom design.

• Failure to provide a conclusive idea for the custom bag may result in the refusal of the order, as it could hinder the production process.

• Put simply, I highly value my time, and considering the considerable time it takes to produce these handcrafted bags, I kindly request a prompt decision on a bag idea. 

• In such cases, I will notify the customer of the refusal and refund the order. 

TURNAROUND TIME:

• The approximate turnaround time for custom bag orders is 4-8 weeks. Please note that this timeframe is an estimate and can vary depending on factors such as the specific design of the bag and the need to order materials that are not currently in stock. We will have detailed discussions regarding these specifics through email.

SHIPPING:

• All orders within the United States will be shipped via USPS Priority Shipping with a flat rate fee based on the size of the ordered bag. Tracking information will be provided for all orders. Please note that I am not responsible for any delays, damages, losses, or thefts that occur during shipping. Once the package is shipped, its safety is beyond my control. If you wish to add package insurance, please inform me, and I will include the cost in your invoice.

• For international orders, USPS will be used as the shipping method. I offer first-class shipping to keep the costs reasonable; however, please be aware that international orders may take a longer time to reach their destination, particularly with first-class shipping. If you prefer to upgrade to priority shipping, please let me know. Please note that I am not responsible for any customs charges or fees that may be imposed. Once your package is shipped, I cannot be held accountable for any delays, damages, losses, or thefts. In case of any issues, you will need to file a claim with the postal service in your country. Tracking information will be available for all orders.
